When you pray for evangelists for your community. God might choose you.
When you for a new Sunday School teacher. God might choose you.
When you pray for musicians. God might choose you.
When you pray for a better preacher. God might choose you.
When you pray for a ladies’ leader. God might choose you.
When you pray for a youth leader. God might choose you.
When you pray for visitation volunteers. God might choose you.
When you pray for ushers and greeters. God might choose you.
When you pray for cleaners and decorators. God might choose you.
When you pray for a handy man. God might choose you.
When you pray for folks to invite their neighbors. God might choose you.
When you pray for cheery dispositions. God might choose you.
When you pray for mature believers, grounded in God’s word. God might choose you.
But then again, God has chosen you already. So, maybe you should stop being careful and start praying that God will use you to improve His church.
