Not Enough, Well Done

There is not enough grace in my heart to save myself, so I’ll trust in God’s grace on Jesus’ cross.

There is not enough forgiveness in this wicked world, so I’ll be satisfied with Jesus’.

There are not enough hours in a day to pray, so I’ll take the minutes God gives me and make them precious.

There are not enough chapters in God’s word to adequately share all the great things He has done, so I’ll get as much as I can out of one chapter today.

There are not enough days in a week to celebrate the gospel with my church family, so I will make that a priority on just one day this week.  Let’s make it the first day.

There are not enough dollars in my bank account to give to the Lord’s work, so I’ll be glad and pitch in just 10%.

There are not enough volunteers to fulfill God’s ministry, so I’ll provide just one.

There is not enough good news on the world news tonight, so I’ll be sure to broadcast a little in our little town.

There are not enough singers to fill the choir loft, so I’ll show up to practice and learn a part.

There are not enough people taking up their crosses daily, so I’ll make sure to hoist up my own.

There is no other source for creation, grace, mercy, peace, and love.  Thankyou Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, for being the One who can take not enough and make it well done.
