A relationship is not made by what you say or how you say it.  A relationship is not determined by where you go or what you do.  A relationship is not defined by the clothes you wear or the styles you display.  A relationship is made, determined, and defined by the parties involved.

When it comes to having a relationship with God, it is not made by a prayer we say or the tone in which we speak it.  Our relationship with God is not determined by a place we go or by the things we do.  Our relationship with God is not defined by our clothing and styles.  Our relationship with God is made, determined, and defined by our faith in God through Jesus Christ.

And, like every other relationship we have, our relationship with God will determine what we say and how we say it.  Our relationship with God will determine where we go and what we do.  Our relationship with God will define the clothes we wear and the styles we choose.

So, I won’t judge you by what you say and where you go and what you do and what you wear.  I will only ask you this, do you have a relationship with God?

“Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”  Acts 16:31

“If indeed you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: that you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt according to the deceitful lusts, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.”  Ephesians 4:21-24
