Faithful Friends
Every Teenager Has A Lot Of Questions About What God Has In Store For Their Lives. That Might Be One Reason Why Teens That Want To Serve Jesus Participate In Faithful Friends.
Faithful Friends Is Our Teen Program At First Baptist Church For Middle And High Schoolers. We Meet Every Wednesday Night From 6:00 To 7:30. In This Time, We Enjoy A Meal Donated By Someone In The Church, Have A Bible Lesson From Pastor Jim Or From RightNow Media, Sing Hymns, And Memorize Scripture. This Fall, Our Lessons And Our Memory Have Focused On The Parables Of Jesus.
In Addition To Our Weekly Meetings, We Do Other Activities As A Group Too. We Sing Special Music Every Month For Our Church Services. We Also Take Some Fun Trips To The Recreation Center Or Bowling Alley Or Have A Bonfire Or Sledding Party At A Local Ranch. The Faithful Friends Also Serve The Community By Hosting Annual Events Like The Veterans Dinner, Valentines Banquet, And Comedy Night. Some Of The Kids Make It To The Rodeo Parade In June And If You Look Closely In July, You Might Just Find Some Of Them At Black Hills Baptist Camp.
If You Are In Middle Or High School And You Want To See What Else We Do, Join Us For Faithful Friends!
