What are some of the benefits of being saved?

Ephesians 1:3-14

Here is a list of just SOME of the benefits or blessings of being saved.  Verses are in parentheses.  Perhaps we should look at each one individually, starting next week…

  1. God chose us (4) and predestined us (5, 11),
  2. He gives us holiness and removes our blame (4),
  3. He gives us His love (4) and accepts us (6),
  4. God adopts us (5),
  5. God puts us in the good pleasure of His will (5, 9),
  6. We partake in the praise of His glory (6, 12, 14),
  7. He redeems us (7, 14),
  8. He forgives us (7),
  9. He shares with us the riches of His grace (8, 11),
  10. He gives us wisdom and prudence (8),
  11. He reveals His will with us (9),
  12. He gathers us together with Him (10),
  13. He gives us an inheritance (11) that is guaranteed (14),
  14. He seals us with the Holy Spirit (13).

And ALL of this, and more, for us?  Wow!  Isn’t God awesome?
